[Web Easy] How to fix links ending in .com/.net/.org extension instead of .htm

There is a bug in the WebEasy 7 program when you save your document with the name and extension of your website (e.g. mydomain.com), it will use the domain extension (e.g. .com) to name your page instead of .htm.  Because of this, it will break all of the navigation links on your website.  To fix this, please walk through the following steps:

Step 1: Verify page extensions

1. Open your website in WebEasy
2. Go to View -> Inspector to turn on the Inspector window
3. In the Inspector window, press the page icon in the top-right corner, select Document
4. In the Inspector window, expand the Web Site Build row
5. Under the Website Build row, double click the value next to HTML File Type
6. Give it a value of ".htm" (without the quotes), press Enter
7. Go to View -> Inspector to turn off the Inspector window

Step 2: Verify album file name

1. Go to File -> Save As
2. Make sure the file name does not contain the extension of your domain name (e.g. .com, .net, etc.). If it does, remove it from the file name
3. Press Save to save your changes

Note: If you renamed your album file, you will need to work off of the new one from now on.  You can also delete the old album file if you like.

Step 3: Delete temporary HTML files

1. Close completely out of WebEasy
2. Navigate to your \My Documents\WebEasy\HTML\ folder
3. Press CTRL+A
4. Press Delete

Note: This will not harm your website data, this will just delete temporary files.

Step 4: Verify package file name

1. Open your website in WebEasy (if you renamed your document, make sure you use the file with the new name)
2. Go to Build -> Website (HTML)
2. Under Package Name, make sure the name does not contain the extension of your domain name (e.g. .com, .net, etc.). If it does, remove it from the file name
3. Checkmark Publish on Internet
4. Press Ok

Step 5: Upload your website

Once your website finished building, upload your website as you normally do.  When prompted, make sure you select "Upload your entire website".  Once this is done uploading this should fix your links.  If you do not see your changes, try pressing CTRL+F5 when you are looking at your website on the internet.  This should refresh the page.  If the links are working correctly, make sure you save your document one last time before exiting the WebEasy program.
