[Web Easy] The text and graphics are jumbled together

Since WebEasy is a "what you see is what you get", or "WYSIWYG" software, it doesn't build your website the same each time.  This can cause problems with the way graphics or text appears as you view it on the internet.  Please go through the section below to resolve this issue.

Note: When you upload your website to us, we do not modify any data we receive.  If there is a problem, it stems from the WebEasy software.

Delete Temporary Internet Files

Perhaps the most common problem with website appearance is the result of temporary internet files storing old website data.  It is recommended to delete your temporary internet files in your web browser after each upload.  For information on how to do this, please click on the following link:

If you continue to have problems, please continue to the next section.

Overlapping Textboxes

If you have textboxes or images overlapping other textboxes and images, WebEasy may covert the overlapped items into one big image.  The solution to this is to make sure the borders of the items are not touching each other.  For instructions on how to do this, please perform the following steps:

1. Open your website in WebEasy
2. Navigate to the page you are having problems with
3. From the menu bar, select Edit -> Select All

This will highlight all the items on your page

4. Examine the borders of the textboxes and images on the page

5. Resize the borders so they are not touching each other, as shown below:

6. Build your website by going to Build -> Website (HTML)
7. Upload your website by going to Tools -> Publish Assistant

Delete WebEasy HTML files

WebEasy does not build your website the same every time you go to Build -> Website.  It may give a picture a different file name than last time you built it, and because of this, it can cause problems when you view on the internet.  You will need to delete website package in the publisher, and then "build" your website again. Once that is complete, you will need to build and upload your website again.

Turn on/off Dynamic HTML

Sometimes by toggling Dynamic HTML it can sometimes remedy appearance problems on your website.  By turning this feature off, it may fix certain problems, but you will loose animation features such as moving text or slide shows.  

1. Open your website in WebEasy
2. From the menu bar, select Build -> Website (HTML)
3. Uncheck Dynamic HTML, as shown below:

4. Press OK
5. Reupload your website
