Repointing an Existing Domain Name

By repointing a domain name, you are choosing to use your existing registrar for domain renewals.  This process will only change the Name Servers, which point to where your website is being hosted.

There is no cost in repointing your domain name, it just takes up to 12-48 hours once the change has been made.

Repoint Process

When you sign up for hosting, you will need to choose the transfer/repoint option for a domain name.  Once the account gets setup, you will get sent two emails.  One email will be a confirmation email, with all of your account information, the other will be an Action Required email.  In the Action Required email, it will provide you with 2 Name Servers which you would use to change at your registrar.  You can either call your current registrar, or log on to their website and change it, if they provide that service.  As a convenience, we can make this change for you.  We only need the username and password for your registrar.
